PAUL EMERSON FELD
Entrepreneur, Public Speaker and Author


Born - April 6, 1943 in New London Connecticut. Father killed on Submarine Bonefish in June 1945. Raised through high school in Mystic Connecticut. Served in US Navy from 1961 to 1971 in submarines during transition from conventional Diesel Electric to Nuclear Powered Missile Launching Polaris Submarines. Circumnavigated the globe in diesel submarines three times before the age of 22, and retrained for the nuclear navy. The last three years in the navy his duty
  assignment was as an instructor at the US Navy Submarine School. While there Paul headed the team that successfully created a 12-week curriculum for the 640 Class Polaris Submarines.

Upon leaving the military Paul entered the field of life insurance sales, where he became the top salesperson in Connecticut in his first year, top in New England his second, and more beyond. During this time he also used his GI Bill to complete his studies at the University of Maine.

Beginning in 1982 Paul began creating companies. Some he has sold, and others he retains ownership and management positions with. His primary company is PES, Inc. a Virginia based motivational, sales training and Development Company that is operated on the Sailing Through Business basis he developed.

Paul is also engaged in public speaking to fortune 500 companies, as well as for the Iron Curtain Foundation Worldwide and the Navy League of the United States.

In 1989 Paul became interested in Central Europe and has lived and worked at starting up small businesses, brokering technologies, and developing business skills in those who wish to transit from Communism to a free market economy.

While in Central Europe throughout the '90's Paul coupled his professional business activities with coaching a US Football team in Pilzen. He brings a diversified background to his speeches, both professional and philanthropic.
